On Friday evening, Britain’s Princess Kate announced that she had cancer. In an announcement on social media, the princess announced that the disease was discovered following investigations following an operation in January.
She is now undergoing chemotherapy.

The princess’s brother, James Middleton (36), has taken to Instagram to show his support for his older sister.
“We have climbed many mountains together over the years. And as a family we will climb this too, together with you,” he writes along with a childhood photo of them together.
The White House also shares its statement of support.
– Our thoughts go out to Kate. This is incredibly sad news. Going forward, it is important to respect their privacy, writes the White House in a public statement, reproduced by Reuters.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has also shared his thoughts.
– My thoughts are with the princess, the prince, the royal family and especially her three children in this tough time. The princess is surrounded by love and support from all over the country while she continues her treatment, Sunak writes in a statement.
He also criticizes the tabloid press for their coverage of Kate’s absence in public in recent weeks.

– Princess Kate has shown enormous bravery today. – Explains to the children
The princess herself states that the cancer was discovered after she underwent a stomach operation in January, and that at first the condition was thought to be harmless.
– After the operation, it became clear that cancer cells were discovered, and I was therefore advised to take chemotherapy.
