SERANG-Insan Insan Pratama Qur’an High School, Tangerang Regency, visited Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University (Untirta) on Thursday, February 15 2024. Located in the Auditorium Room (SC3) Student Center Building, Untirta Campus, Sindangsari, Serang Regency, this visit was warmly welcomed by the Head of the Academic Bureau for Student Affairs and Cooperation (BAKK) Tubagus Bahtera Rohimudin, SE, M.Sc., Chair of Adhoc PMB Untirta Tri Cahyono, SIKom., MM, Chair of the Public Relations Working Group Adhitya Angga Pratama, SIKom., MIKom., and Tim.

The Head of BAKK said that currently Untirta is a university that has been taken into account on the national stage and Banten residents also trust Untirta as a state university whose development is accelerating and will even become a legal entity campus or PTNBH.

“Competition for entering higher education is currently getting tougher and more selective, especially in the 4.0 era. Now the era is all about computers and you have to be prepared with your psychological condition because you are facing these questions on the computer because it is a race against time. When you use paper you can repeat it and be more relaxed. On a computer it’s different, you have to be more independent, don’t be pressured. “You have to be closer to your parents, especially during boarding. The important thing is to ask your parents for prayers,” he said.

School Leader Dr. KH Ali Mukafi, M.Ag., said, giving freedom to students or santri to determine their own future. “Students don’t all have to be scholars or religious teachers, please become doctors, or other professions where it is important to memorize the Al-Quran. “Study in any field, including at Untirta, so that it brings benefits to us together, so our motivation is together, hopefully you can be accepted here,” he said.

Angga said that when students have decided on the SNBP route, they must be prepared with report card grades and of course about the achievements they already have because at Untirta achievement grades are taken into account more than report card grades.

“At least you have district or city level achievements and these must be uploaded at the time of registration because each PTN has different grade standards. There are report cards that are higher than achievements and vice versa. At Untirta, this achievement was very influential in receiving SNBP. Then SNBT is purely based on test scores, and here the main and second paths can take cross-majors. More complete information on Untirta admissions is on the website pmb.untirta.ac.id. It’s just one website and you just have to look there for more details. Why should you choose Untirta? First, the results from the 20 strictest SNBP study programs last year, Untirta was in second place nationally, namely in the Nursing department. “The Nutrition Study Program is at level 8 nationally and this is a big reason for friends to enter Untirta,” he added.

Tri Cahyono, warned that if this year among the Qur’an Insani Pratama High School students there are those who pass the SNBP, they must take it straight away. “Those who have not yet registered, make sure that their choice is in line with their passion, think again about which study program they will take. Apart from that, choosing a study program must also have a strategy as a reference, which study program also has more opportunities or quotas that don’t have many competitors, you must also pay attention to that so that your chances of being accepted are greater.
