AC Milan drew 3-3 against Sassuolo, in matchday 32 of the Italian league. Rafael Leão’s goal was not enough to guarantee the three points.
The home team started strong and scored two goals in the first 10 minutes, through Pinamonti and Lauriente.
It was the Portuguese international who put the Rossoneri back in the race, with a goal in the 20th minute (it was Leão’s eighth goal in Serie A).
In the second half, Sassuolo came out on top again, with another goal from Lauriente.
In reaction, the Milan team still came in search of a draw, with goals from Jovic and Okafor.
With this draw, Milan rises to 69 points, 13 less than Inter Milan, who host Cagliari this Sunday.
