Wind gusts of up to 102.2 km/h announced the storms that hit Upper Austria on Monday evening with hail, rain, lightning and thunder. Fallen trees and local flooding kept the fire departments busy.

The first storm was reported in Braunau am Inn at 7:14 p.m. – the fire department had to secure a roof that was at risk from the storm. At around the same time, the Parschallen-Aich fire department had to move out in Nußdorf am Attersee to clear a fallen tree from a road. At 8:12 p.m. the fire department in Molln went out to repair storm damage. The Florians also went out to remove fallen trees in the Perg district.
