Several types of toast bread at Lidl, Marktkauf and Edeka are affected by a recall because there is a risk of injury if consumed.
The Dutch manufacturer Bakkerij Holland is recalling several types of toast bread due to possible plastic foreign bodies. There is therefore a risk of injury when consumed. Therefore, consumers should under no circumstances eat the toast.
The varieties affected are Grafschafter Wheat Sandwich American Style, 750g and Grafschafter whole grain sandwich American style, 750gthe ones at the discounter Lidl were sold in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).
There are also 750 gram packs GUT&GÜNSTIG sandwich toast wheat and GUT&GÜNSTIG sandwich toast whole grain called back. These types of toast bread were made at Edeka and Market purchase sold in North Rhine-Westphalia and the neighboring regions of Lower Saxony and Rhineland-Palatinate.
