The dress rehearsal has become a true nightmare for Alfred Johansson and Rosenborg.
Several players were missing for the Trønders, including Sander Tangvik, Sverre Nypan and Santeri Väänäen. But still fielded, on paper, a strong team against Viking.
However, it would turn out to be far from good enough to keep up with the home team, because after just over 60 minutes, RBK were 4-0 behind.

A humiliation in the dress rehearsal for Johansson & Co.
“They have been outplayed in all phases of the game,” writes the local newspaper Nidaros about what they saw at SR Bank Arena.
Ole Selnæs, Edvard Tagseth and Tobias Børkeeiet for, among other things, failing grades in the newspaper.

– It was an unacceptable performance. We had too little effort and were too uncourageous with the ball and too unaggressive in pressing across the pitch. It was too bad, says Erlend Dahl Reitan to Nidaros after the match.
A bright spot for Rosenborg, however, was that star striker Ole Sæter was back on the pitch, after an injury that has kept the lion from Singsaker out for several weeks.
It has been an uneven winter for the Trønders, who have only three wins in eleven games in the run-up to the season.
But the loss against Viking is the team’s first in four games, where they have beaten Tromsø and drawn against Molde.
Viking gets a visit from Sarpsborg 08 for the series premiere on 1 April, while Rosenborg gets Sandefjord to Lerkendal.
