Russian elections, from the tundra to the seat with the reindeer

(LaPresse) Reindeer herders from a remote tundra village traveled hundreds of kilometers by sled to vote in Russia’s presidential election. Roman Turpin went on Friday with other shepherds to a polling station in the village of Yuriung-Khaya, in the far north of the country, to cast his vote. Polling stations in Russia will be open until Sunday, given the reconfirmation of Vladimir Putin.
