Saint Joseph’s Day is marked by novenas and procession in Manaus this Tuesday

Manaus/AM – The Archdiocesan Sanctuary of São José Operário will hold, this Tuesday (19), the “Solemnity of Saint Joseph, Husband of the Virgin Mary 2024” with the traditional novenas and the procession in honor of the honoree.

The novenas times will be the usual ones, at 6am, 9am, 12pm, 4pm and 7pm. The procession begins at 5pm, concluding with the celebration of Mass on the premises of the Sanctuary, located in the Praça 14 de Janeiro neighborhood, South zone.

This year, the procession will leave the Sanctuary at around 5pm, following Avenida Visconde de Porto Alegre, then Avenida Sete de Setembro, heading to Avenida Castelo Branco, then going to Avenida Ramos Ferreira and Rua Duque de Caxias. The journey will end in the outside area of ​​the parish with the closing novena and the celebration of mass, at 7pm, presided over by the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Manaus, Cardinal Leonardo Steiner.
