She is known as a Finn, a feminist and a writer with hard-hitting VG chronicles in which she deals with various Norwegian conditions.
Earlier in 2024, it became known that Sarromaa is quitting his teaching job to become a news journalist in the bourgeois newspaper Minerva.
And to TV 2, the public debater reveals yet another exciting event that will mark the year: She is getting married in the autumn.
At “Good morning Norway”, the 44-year-old is asked to comment on the lavish pre-wedding celebration of Anant Ambani, the son of Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani.
Ready for “round two”
– The standard has now been set for my own wedding. It should surpass this wedding, she says with a laugh.
– Yes, because you are getting married in the autumn?

– I’m getting married, so it will be like this Indian wedding! Nope. I’m going into round two, so it goes down with each round, says the 44-year-old – and points to the fact that the second wedding will probably be more sober than the first time she got married.
Took divorce hard
Sarromaa has been married once before. Together with her ex-husband, Sarromaa has three children: Eldest son Rudolf and twins Sylvi and Adolf.
At the end of 2020, she gave birth to her youngest son, Voitto, who she got with the help of so-called embryo donation – where both sperm and eggs are donated.

The mother of four was divorced in 2017, after 12 years of marriage. In “Skavlan” on TV 2, the Finn told about drastic actions after the man asked for a divorce:
– So, I showed up at work, which was my own, my ex-husband’s and his then new girlfriend’s workplace. And then I said what I thought about her and them and that love.
– I wanted her to know that that love had a price, and I and the children paid that price, Sarromaa said at the time.
But now luck is smiling again.
– I confirm that I am getting married, am mega in love and super happy – and it seems, she writes in an SMS to TV 2 – with a smiling “emoji” surrounded by hearts.
