Semen Padang FC had to settle for being runner-up in Liga 2 2023/2024 after recognizing PSBS Biak’s 0-3 lead in the second leg of the Liga 2 final which took place at the GOR H. Agus Salim Stadium, Padang City, West Sumatra. This match ended with a 0-6 aggregate win for PSBS Biak.
The match led by referee Amril Nurhadi was fierce from the start of the first half. Semen Padang FC, who were behind in the first leg 0-3, tried to attack the PSBS Biak defense in front of tens of thousands of supporters.
However, Kabau Sirah’s team’s attack at the start of the first half did not produce results, the PSBS Biak defender could still anticipate the opportunity. Disaster for Semen Padang FC, Kabau Sirah’s team’s defense was careless, Beto’s free ball was converted into a goal against Fakrurrazi in the 12th minute.

The atmosphere in the field was chaotic, because individuals carrying flares and fireworks entered the field. And flares were scattered from several sides of the field.

With this result, Semen Padang FC lost again 0-3 to PSBS Biak in the second leg. So the final match of Liga 2 2023/2024 was won by PSBS Biak with an aggregate of 0-6 over Semen Padang FC. Semen Padang had to settle for being runner-up in Liga 2 2023/2024.
Meanwhile, PSBS Biak’s victory this time also broke Semen Padang FC’s unbeaten record in front of its own supporters.
