In his house, Bournemouth achieved a key victory to continue with hopes of reaching the European cup positions in the English league.
Senesi and another important goal for Bournemouth in the Premier
Senesi’s goal came after 13 minutes after a corner. The Argentine took advantage of a short rebound from the goalkeeper and, with a header at the near post, scored the goal that opened the scoring and put Bournemouth ahead.
For the central defender it is his 3rd goal this season in the Premier. The last one had been scored in the 1-3 defeat against Fulham in February.
With this victory, Bournemouth reaches 48 points, its best campaign in history, with three days left in the Premier League. It is 5 points behind Newcastle, for now the last one with a European place, but only 1 point behind West Ham, 9th, waiting for an extra place to be enabled.
Brighton, which today had Barco and Buonanotte as starters, is left with 44 points and is sinking in the table, after 6 games without winning, with almost no chance of reaching Europe next season.
