Russian Defense Minister Shoigu said that almost all commanders at all levels in Russia have experienced operations in Syria. More than 90% of military pilots have actual combat experience, and some have flown 400 sorties.
Shoigu said that the Russian army is now very motivated. He said: “More than 90% of our pilots have combat experience. Some have 100 sorties and some 400 sorties. This is of course a completely different army.”
Shoigu also talked about planning which weapons will be delivered in the future and how many students will be required to enter higher education institutions to operate these weapons.
