Xinhua News Agency, Rio de Janeiro, December 25 (Reporter Zhao Yan and Chen Weihua) According to the police in the state of Ceara in northeastern Brazil, confirmed on the 25th that a shooting incident occurred in the early morning of that day at a Christmas celebration in Fortaleza, the capital of the state. At least 6 people were killed.
The police said that the victim was holding a Christmas celebration in a football stadium at the time of the incident. The assailant suddenly broke in and shot many people. Among them, five men died on the spot and one injured woman died after being taken to the hospital. Died, and another 5 people are still rescued in the hospital. The assailant fled in a car and two motorcycles.
The police preliminarily determined that the incident was an intentional homicide, and the specific cause is still under investigation.
At present, the police have arrested 8 suspects and seized 6 pistols and some ammunition.
