Snow Man’s Ren Meguro has been appointed as FENDI’s Japan brand ambassador. A press conference commemorating this was held today, February 1st, at Palazzo Fendi Omotesando in Tokyo.
Meguro participated in Silvia Venturini Fendi’s “2024-25 Fall/Winter Men’s Collection” held in Milan, Italy last month. FENDI, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year, explained the reason for hiring Meguro: “In addition to Meguro’s free and playful personality, he is confident, dynamic, and has a professional attitude that takes on challenges with conviction, strength, and determination.” It embodies the image.” Meguro will be the first time a Japanese man will serve as FENDI’s Japan brand ambassador.
Meguro appeared wearing a jacquard set and sleeveless shirt from FENDI’s latest collection. Regarding this coordination, he said, “It has a distinctive FENDI design.I’m wearing an apron-like shirt inside, and it’s a FENDI look that respects craftsmen, so I’m excited to wear it.” .
After signing the Japan Brand Ambassador paperwork with a nervous look on his face, Meguro spoke about his current state of mind, saying, “FENDI is a brand that I have a lot of feelings for, so I got goosebumps when I signed it.I never expected a day like this to come.” I wasn’t expecting that, so I’m really happy!” he said with a boyish smile.
When asked what he likes about the brand, he answered that Meguro is suitable for any situation. At the press conference, Meguro, who will celebrate her 27th birthday on February 16th, was given a gold-colored necklace by FENDI as a surprise present.
