San Mateo – The PS Plus games for May 2024 are officially known! As usual, Sony announced the free games shortly before publication. This month, surprisingly, 4 free games await you, which you can now download throughout May. We’ll show you all the free games and tell you which game you should definitely try out.

PS Plus May 2024: All free games at a glance – These titles are particularly worthwhile

These are the free games: A total of 4 titles are available for download this month. The following games are included:

    • EA Sports FC 24 (PS4/PS5)
      Genre: Sportsimulation
      Release: 29. September 2023
      Metascore: 75

Genre: Jump ‘n’ Run, Adventure, Fighting Game
      Release: October 26, 2023

      Price: 39.99 euros
    • Tunic (PS4/PS5)
      Genre: Indie Game, Action-Adventure

      Price: 29.99 euros
    • Destiny 2: Lightfall (PS4/PS5)

      Metascore: 69
      Price: 49.99 euros

This is what’s in the games: Real hits are waiting for you this month! With EA Sports FC 24, a classic sports simulation comes to PS Plus. The title still costs 80 euros and was convincing this time too. If you haven’t bought the game yet, you should buy it now – alone in career mode or online in Ultimate Team. There is something for everybody.

Ghostrunner 2 is also a pretty fresh game – it was only released 6 months ago and was convincing. In the title you have to dig through a world that is reminiscent of cyberpunk in many places. Enemies keep attacking you with futuristic weapons and you have to get through the different worlds in the classic jump ‘n’ run style. The title is quite popular in the community and is definitely a hit due to the young release date!

With Tunic you get a true indie gem for PS Plus. It’s not without reason that the title received a strong 85 on Metacritic. The style is more reminiscent of a Nintendo title, but the self-explanatory game world also works wonderfully on the PlayStation. Anyone who loves titles like Hollow Knight or Zelda will get their money’s worth here.

Destiny 2 received a major expansion last year with the Lightfall expansion. However, the content of the expansion wasn’t really convincing, especially due to the high price at the time. A little more than a year later, it’s worth taking a look at Lighfall, because you can pick up a lot of content here, especially for free. If you like playing Destiny anyway and have already played one or two Destiny DLCs for free through PS Plus in recent years, you can’t go wrong here.
