At the Defensores del Chaco Stadium, on date 1 of group H, the Academy began its journey in the international competition with a 2-0 victory over the Paraguayan team.

Racing began its participation in the Copa Sudamericana with a 2-0 victory over Sportivo Luqueño for the first date of group H at the Defensores del Chaco Stadium with goals from Adrián and Roger Martínez.
