Irish people all over the world celebrate their national saint St. Patrick on March 17th. In Lübeck, too, people are taking to the streets – many of them wearing green.
Lübeck – Irish people all over the world celebrate the memorial day of the Irish Bishop Patrick on March 17th – on Sunday for the first time with a parade in Lübeck. According to a police officer on site, around 150 people took part on Sunday. So far, celebrations in the Hanseatic city have only taken place in Irish pubs. The participants walked from the Northern Wall Peninsula past the Holstentor through Willy-Brandt-Allee.
