STELLANTIS Solid growth in Q1 2024 in overall European and electric markets – Companies

Stellantis confirmed sales growth in early 2024, recording an increase in volumes (passenger cars and commercial vehicles) of 5.4% in the EU29 region compared to the previous year for the first quarter, with a market share of 19, 2%, up 0.9% compared to 2023.

Despite the absence of demand incentives in many European markets, Stellantis has maintained a solid performance, reflecting dominance in the sector. In France, Stellantis maintained its sales leadership with a combined market share (passenger cars and commercial vehicles) of 32.4%, recording an increase in registrations of 7.3% compared to 2023. Also in Italy, Stellantis recorded a sales growth of 4.3% compared to the previous year, confirming itself as market leader, with six models in the top ten, including the popular FIAT Panda in first place.

In Germany, Stellantis recorded significant growth of 22.7%, increasing its market share by 2 percentage points to 13.9%. In Spain, Stellantis produced more than a fifth of the passenger cars and commercial vehicles sold in the first quarter of 2024, with a market share of 20.4%, confirming its leadership in the Spanish market.

In the UK, Stellantis achieved 18.7% growth in the first quarter, with a market share of 14.7%. Significant growth in sales was also observed in other European countries such as Portugal and Poland.

The Stellantis Pro One Commercial Vehicles business unit maintained market leadership with a 30% share and year-on-year volume growth of +11.1%, offering 12 models across all segments.

In the electric vehicle (BEV) market, Stellantis recorded growth of 4.5% year-on-year and 8.2% in the top 10 markets, achieving a market share of 14.4% in Europe in the first quarter. Stellantis remains a leader in several BEV segments, recording significant volume increases in France, the United Kingdom, Portugal and Poland.
