Stellantis records significant sales growth of 5.9% in Europe in 2023 across all segments and for all propulsions. Stellantis ended the year in second place in sales in the European market, with a market share of 18.4% on an annual basis. Stellantisā€™ dominance in the commercial vehicle (CV) segment, with a market share consistently above 30%, supports the Stellantis Pro One business unit in its industry leadership.

Remarkable results were achieved in the main European markets, with sales (PC+CV) growing compared to last year: +2.2% in France, +5% in Germany, +10.6% in Italy, +3.5 % in Spain, +16.8% in the United Kingdom. The results were also positive in the rest of Europe, with significant growth also in Belux, Ireland, Portugal and Switzerland. Overall, France, Italy and Portugal lead in overall sales, while France, Portugal and Spain lead in sales in the electrified market.

In the BEV market, Stellantis is growing rapidly, recording a 14% increase compared to 2022, capturing a 14.2% market share in Europe and leading in various BEV segments. Sales of battery electric vehicles are steadily increasing on a quarterly basis, allowing Stellantis to secure a well-deserved podium in the sales rankings in Europe. Models such as the Fiat 500e, Opel Corsa electric, Peugeot e-208, Jeep Avenger and the entire range of BEV Pro One commercial vehicles (38.6% market share) have allowed the Company to improve its results.

In the EU29, the overall results indicate a positive transition from 2023 to the new year, mirroring the general trend in major European countries. As a leading automotive manufacturer in France, Stellantis excels in the electrified vehicle market, reaching an important share of 27.4%, significantly growing compared to 2022 and surpassing its main competitor in the BEV market by 4 points. In Italy, Stellantis emerged as the overall market leader, ending 2023 with a 45.5% share of the commercial vehicle sector.

The Company is strengthening its leadership in the energy transition: one in four electrified vehicles and half of electric commercial vehicles are Stellantis branded. Positive results also come from Germany, where Stellantis has consolidated its position as the second largest automotive company. The Opel Corsa continues to be the best-selling vehicle in the B-segment for the third consecutive year, reaching the highest level of registrations since 2016. Furthermore, Stellantis leads the commercial vehicle market for the fourth consecutive month.

Corsa and Mokka Electric dominate the best-selling electric compact and B-SUV market respectively.
