Idan Amedi, a well-known actor from the hit Netflix series “Fauda”, has been seriously injured during fighting in Gaza. The actor, of Kurdish origin, is also a popular singer in Israel. Amedi is currently in critical condition in the ICU of the Sheba Tel Hashomer Medical Center in central Israel.
The actor’s father has provided an update on his condition, stating that while he is in critical condition, his life is not in danger. Amedi had recently spoken to an Israeli television channel about the war in Gaza, expressing shock at the infrastructure and weapons he encountered while on the frontlines.
This news comes as the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that nine Israeli soldiers were killed in central and southern Gaza, marking one of the deadliest days for Israeli forces since the start of the military offensive. The Palestinian Health Ministry in Ramallah has reported a staggering death toll of at least 22,835 people and an injury count of 58,416 since the start of the conflict.
IDF has reported the death of 185 soldiers in combat in Gaza since October 7. These figures highlight the ongoing conflict and the devastating toll it continues to take on both Israeli and Palestinian communities.
