Trans TV Cinema tonight, Tuesday (6/2), Hollow Man (2000) will be broadcast at 21.00 WIB. The film is an adaptation of the novel The Invisible Man by HG Wells. The following is a synopsis of Hollow Man starring Kevin Bacon and Elisabeth Shue.
Smart scientist Sebastian Caine (Kevin Bacon) has developed a serum for the military that can make a subject invisible. He has a team consisting of Linda McKay (Elisabeth Shue), who is his ex-girlfriend.

Instead of reporting the success to the military, Sebastian lies to the oversight committee, which includes his mentor Howard Kramer (William Devane).

Sebastian tells them they are close to the desired result but need more time. He also convinces part of the team to carry out tests on humans without military permission, and leaves the rest in the dark.
Tests were carried out directly on Sebastian and appeared to be going well. The serum makes him invisible so he can sneak around the lab and prank his colleagues.
However, the team is worried that Sebastian is taking this prank too far. So, they asked Sebastian to carry out the return procedure. Unfortunately, it failed and almost killed the scientist.
They then decided to quarantine Sebastian to conduct further testing. Sebastian was also asked to wear a latex mask so that his whereabouts would be known.
With continuous testing without the desired results, Sebastian begins to rebel and leaves the building. He also removed the latex mask so that he was completely invisible.
From then on, Sebastian committed crimes such as stalking, harassment, and other things that endangered the rest of the scientific team, especially Linda, who was his ex-girlfriend.
They also try to find a way to catch Sebastian to stop it all.
Hollow Man is directed by Paul Verhoeven (Basic Instinct) from a script written by Andrew W. Marlowe (The Equalizer series).
The film first opened in the US on August 4, 2000, and collected over US$190.2 million. The film made a profit because it was made with a budget of US$95 million.
