Takumi Kawanishi, Shoya Kimata, and Aomi Kinjo will appear in the movie “Fugitive THE MOVIE” to be released nationwide on Friday, July 19, 2024!

It has been decided that Takumi Kawanishi, Shoya Kimata, and Aomi Kinjo will appear in the movie “Fugitive THE MOVIE,” which will be released on Friday, July 19, 2024.

Fuji TV’s variety show “Fujin Naka” began airing in 2004 and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The fugitive will receive a bounty depending on the time they escape from the hunter, but if they are caught, the bounty will be zero! Either you can run away until the end and aim for a large amount of money, or you can retire midway through and earn a solid amount of money, it’s truly a get-rich-quick game! The popular program “On the Run” will be made into a drama film on the occasion of its 20th anniversary.

“On the Run THE MOVIE” is set in the largest “on the run” in history with a total prize pool of over 100 million yen and a total of 1,000 participants! This is an extremely immersive, new type of attraction movie that depicts a heart-pounding, sometimes passionate, and sometimes tear-jerking story.

Powerful escape action that can only be experienced on the big screen, a sense of speed, and bargaining with hunters…

Please come and experience “Running THE MOVIE” in theaters, where everything is definitely substandard!

Tachibana Yamato (Tachibana Yamato)…Sprinter from the prestigious Meio University track and field club

Were you surprised when you heard that The Runaway was being made into a movie and its main cast? That’s what I thought (lol).I went to track and field practice before filming, and as the days went by, I realized that it wasn’t a lie! I realized that. The character I play, Yamato, is a bit unconventional, but he’s also a very compassionate character who truly cares about his friends. Everyone from FANTASTICS was also really nice and interesting from the first time I met them…I had watched the drama that Daiki Sato, who plays Joji, was in, so I was really happy to be able to co-star with him. We are very honored and grateful to be able to be the main cast on this big 20th anniversary stage. This is a thrilling and moving work that fans of On the Run and those who haven’t heard of On the Run yet can enjoy. Please look forward to!

The role of Ken Ika…A smart college student who is addicted to investing.

When I say “On the Run”, it’s from my generation… At school, everyone imitated “Release the Hunters!” and it was very popular, so I was surprised when I was chosen to appear in it. I’m really happy to be able to appear in the 20th anniversary movie with such gorgeous members! Ken, the character I played, has a complex within himself, but he’s human in that way…He’s a little lame at times, but he’s a very realistic character, and I like him! I was able to feel a sense of youth with everyone in FANTASTICS through my acting, so not only did I have a strong bond with them through their roles, but I also became good friends with them through filming, and I felt a sense of youth there as well. We built a very good relationship as we made strategies for each other and sometimes joked around with each other. “On the Run THE MOVIE” is a deep work that can be enjoyed by both adults and children, so please come and see it in theaters!

Yugo Kitamura (Yugo Kitamura): The third generation of a small factory that is struggling with cash flow.

I’ve been watching “On the Run” ever since I was a child, and even as a child I had a strong sense of confidence that “I can escape!”, so I was able to appear in the movie. It’s a proud feeling that makes me want to brag to myself when I was little. I didn’t have much acting experience to begin with, but as I played Yugo seriously, I saw the bond between the six people and the faces and serious looks of the staff who supported me, and I was able to transcend the line of emotion. I feel like it was played out. It depicts mutual growth and bonds, so I think the content will particularly resonate with students and people in similar situations. Everyone, please watch the movie “Runaway THE MOVIE” with your family, friends, and other people. I also hope that all of you who are working hard on your youth through club activities will be able to watch it together at the theater.
