Paparazzi photos of the couple enjoying life on holiday in the Bahamas have gone around the world in recent days. In the photos, published by American tabloid magazines, Swift and Kelce can be seen walking hand in hand on the beach.

The pictures have not only received positive attention. Kelce has received several comments on his body, how many believe he has put on weight and criticize it.
Many believe that Kelce has a “dad body”, and that he should have more visible muscles as he is a big sports figure.

In the podcast he has with his brother, Jason Kelce, the two talk about who could drink the most in a drinking contest. When Jason says he could drink the most, Travis says:
– What!? You are already down to 117 kilos.
The brother corrects this, and says he weighs 128 kilos. That makes Travis laugh and he says:
– We are in the same weight class now. It’s March! We are in the same weight class, he says and points out that the NFL season has ended.

The podcast was released on Thursday, the same week that the photos were hotly discussed on social media.

– There has certainly been a trend in recent years with much more focus on boys, and especially that they should have visible muscles, says nutritionist and researcher Kristin Jonvik at the Norwegian Institute of Sports Studies (NIH).
She says many boys and men resort to extreme solutions to achieve this.
– Many are concerned about this development. One thing is that you are so obsessed with your body, and chasing something that is not compatible with good health. Another thing is the way one tries to achieve this, such as quick solutions with supplements and drugs.
The NIH researcher believes there are enough bad role models in social media.
– Among other things, there has been a focus on “The Ronaldo effect», with a big focus on boys looking like this and like that.

– There has been a lot of talk about girls and body pressure. Is it as big a problem among boys?
– It is difficult to say, because it is believed that there are a number of dark figures among the boys. This is perhaps easier for girls to talk about.
Jonvik thinks it’s good that Kelce seems to be answering the criticism he’s received with humor and lightness.
– It is very important to have good role models. Those who have a good and relaxed relationship with their body and food, and are not concerned with showing off extreme versions of their bodies. This particularly applies to sports profiles.
Star couple
According to The Independent Swift and Kelce spent a few days at the luxurious Rosalita House property on Harbor Island while in the Bahamas. The price per night should be around NOK 140,000.
Swift and Kelce have been a couple since the fall of 2023. Since then, they have appeared together in public on several occasions.
