On Sunday night’s (February 4) Grammy Awards at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Swift won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album and took the stage to accept the award.
“This is my 13th Grammy, which is my lucky number, I don’t know if I’ve ever told you,” Swift joked (any Swiftie knows this by heart). “I want to thank the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way. I know that the way the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans. So I want to thank the fans by telling them a secret that I’ve been keeping from them for the last two years, and that is that my new album is coming out on April 19. Is called The Tortured Poets Department. I’m going to post the cover right now behind the scenes. Thanks, I love you”.
Immediately afterward, Swift did as promised and shared the cover art for The Tortured Poets Department, which is a black and white photo of Swift lying on a bed. “Everything is fair in love and poetry,” she says in the caption.
Recently, Swift topped the annual Power Players list of Billboard of the most powerful people in the music industry.
