Football professional Christian Günter received visitors from home on Thursday. The Black Forest club Tennenbronn had a visit to the Europa Park stadium as its main goal on its day trip to Freiburg.
SC captain Christian Günter, who grew up in Tennenbronn, was able to be won over to manage the stadium through the contacts of Black Forest club chairman Helmut Moosmann.

Early in the morning, the 40-person tour group took the train from Villingen to Freiburg main station. We continued on foot to Freiburg city center.
There, the people of Tennenbronn could visit the cathedral, stroll through the colorful weekly market, enjoy a coffee or take in the culinary diversity in the market hall.
Take the tram to the stadium
We then took the tram to the stadium, where the tour group was welcomed by SC Freiburg professional Christian Günter. He gave the group the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at the Europa-Park Stadium.
Three floors VIP area
After the three floors of the VIP area, we went to the stands and down to the field and the trainers’ and substitutes’ benches. The group reached the press area through the players’ tunnel. There, Christian Günter said, as team captain he is often questioned when there is an explanation for defeats.
It was not possible to inspect the players’ cabins that day due to other occupancy. The guests from Günter’s hometown had more time to ask questions in the press room.
Günter answers questions
Christian Günter answered everything willingly and sympathetically, regardless of whether it was about the stadium, the club or even about himself. He was also happy to fulfill requests for his dedication on the shirts he brought with him.
The group thanked everyone with a gift for the personal tour of the stadium. The group from Tennenbronn ended the day with a dinner together in downtown Freiburg at the Martins-Bräu brewery and then took the train home in a relaxed manner with many impressions gained.
