TEVVA British manufacturer supports electrification with Customer Experience Days 2024 – Companies

British electric vehicle manufacturer Tevva has kicked off the first of its Customer Experience Days 2024, with 40 potential customers spending a day at Tevva London in Tilbury driving the only 7.5t battery electric truck made in the Kingdom United.

The 7.5t Tevva truck offers up to 140 miles (227 kilometers) with its 105 kWh battery on a single charge and is ideal for urban delivery fleets. It is the only battery electric truck in its class currently in production in the UK.

Customer Experience Days aim to give fleet managers, transportation managers, operations managers and anyone tasked with decarbonizing their commercial vehicle fleets the opportunity to get behind the wheel of an electric truck. Tevva’s next Customer Experience Day will be held on Thursday 21 March.

The test route takes in the port and town of Tilbury, mimicking typical urban delivery routes. Participants will be able to drive or be driven on local roads and experience first-hand the “wow factor” of first-time electric driving.

The full program includes an informal sharing of onboard technologies at the Tevva Creation Hub, covering batteries, regenerative braking, eMotors and a look at the company’s manufacturing facilities. There will be time to ask questions and meet experts from Tevva’s product, sales and service, engineering, manufacturing and leadership teams.
