New York – Not even the Uvalde massacre has moved the Republicans to do something in order to avoid the next one, limiting the sale of weapons or at least increasing controls on who buys them. But now there will be a window of a couple of weeks to see if there is at least room for some compromise that protects the security of the Americans.
