However, schools in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, and Samut Prakan that are listed as the highest control areas for the epidemic in Thailand still focus on online teaching, and offline on-site teaching is temporarily not available.

According to a poll recently released by Bangkok University, about 71% of parents of kindergarten and primary and secondary school students do not want their children to return to school during the epidemic, and nearly 40% of parents hope to postpone the start of school until the epidemic improves.

The spokesperson of Thailand’s New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic Management Center also said that the 14th is the national school day, but many parents are still worried about whether they should let their children return to school. He said that teachers have to take care of students, so they should be listed as a priority group for vaccinations against the new crown.

According to relevant statistics, more than 60% of faculty and staff in Thailand have been vaccinated against the new crown.

In addition to the school opening, the Bangkok City Government also issued an announcement on the 14th that with the approval of the Bangkok Infectious Diseases Committee, the ban on museums, parks, beauty clinics, health massage places (only foot massages are allowed), nail salons/tattoo shops, etc. Category 5 places. As for other places previously ordered to be closed due to the epidemic, they will remain closed until June 30.
