The Battle of Snake Island. On the island, the symbol of the Ukrainians, Putin’s troops rejected at sea

KHARKIV – The Russians abandon their positions on the Snake Island out of manifest inferiority to the Ukrainians’ abilities – and again the Russian certainty of being the strongest is shaken by the flexible and bold tactics of the opponents. On the first day of the war, that very island had become a national symbol because one of the Ukrainian sentries refused to surrender to a Russian ship and replied: “Russian warship, fuck you.”
