Thomas Kingston (45), who was married to King Charles’ third son, was found dead on Sunday evening at an address in Gloucestershire.

Kingston was married to Lady Gabriella Kingston (42), daughter of Prince Michael of Kent (81) – the cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth. Lady Gabriella is thus the triplet of King Charles (75) and his siblings.
The cause of death and the surrounding circumstances are not known, but the emergency services had rushed to the scene.
Buckingham Palace confirms the news, which should have “come as a shock” to the royal family, reports BBC.

In a statement from King Charles and Queen Camilla (76), it is said that they are in mourning and send their “warmest thoughts and prayers” to Kingston’s family.
The widow and her family have also issued a statement in which they remember Kingston as an “extraordinary person, who lit up the lives of all who knew him”.
«It is with deepest sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Kingston, our beloved husband, son and brother», reads the report.
The police state that there is no indication that anything criminal has occurred.
Lady Gabriella and Kingston married in 2019. The wedding took place in St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, with many from the British royal family as guests, including Queen Elizabeth.

Kingston was previously a lover of Pippa Middleton (40), the sister of Princess Kate (42).
Prince William grew up with Lady Gabriella in close circles and is said to have been a good friend of Kingston.
However, the fact that William chose to preside over the memorial ceremony for King Constantine II of Greece “for personal reasons” on Tuesday should not be because of his friend’s sudden death.
As recently as Wednesday last week, Thomas Kingston and Lady Gabriella shone at an art event in London.
BBC writes that Kingston was a director of the investment company Devonport Capital. He previously worked for the British Foreign Office in Baghdad, where he was involved in securing the release of hostages.
A hearing will reportedly be held to determine the cause of death.
He leaves no children.
