The Ministry of Health and Sports of Myanmar announced on the evening of July 30 that in order to control the spread of the epidemic, ten new areas have implemented the new crown epidemic prevention restrictions. These ten areas include: Nadrin Township in Bago Province and Mandalay Province Misha Town, Madeya Town, Debegin Town, Metiela Town, Ezun Town, Biaobei Town, Daxi Town, Dangda Town and Wendun Town will be implemented from 4 o’clock in the morning of the next day. So far, Myanmar has implemented the new crown epidemic prevention order in 108 areas, more than one-third of the country.

The Ministry of Health and Sports of Myanmar also released news that in the 14135 samples tested on the same day, 5127 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia were found, the diagnosis rate exceeded 36%, and a total of 294,460 confirmed cases; 390 new deaths on the same day, a total of deaths 8942 cases. At present, Myanmar’s health department is curbing the spread of the epidemic by promoting the import of anti-epidemic materials and expanding the new crown vaccination.
