The testimony of Bob Sauer who found the piece detached from the Boeing 737 Max 9
(LaPresse) A piece of the door of the Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 Max 9 broke off last Friday immediately after takeoff from the same Oregon city. The man, as he himself said, found the missing piece after a friend suggested he take a look in his yard on Sunday. «I thought it wasn’t very likely that that piece was in my garden» declared the teacher who then added: «I went out and took the torch and went to the back and looking carefully I could see that there was it was something under the trees that normally should have been there. When I went to look, it was obviously a piece of a plane,” said Sauer, who then concluded: “My heart started beating a little faster at that point because I thought, ‘Oh my god, people have this. I’ve been looking all weekend and it’s in my backyard.” (LaPresse)
