From tomorrow, Friday 2nd to Saturday 10th February, a rich program created by the Pro Loco in which the tastes of adults, young and children are satisfied and the great tradition of the town linked to the Saint also known as the protector of the throat is respected.
The volunteers of the Revello Pro Loco wish to repeat last year’s great success
The town is ready to come alive thanks to the patronal feast of San Biagio, an event that respects the beloved traditions of Revello and which, at the same time, evolves, thanks to a program suitable for everyone, from the little ones to the elderly.
The Pala San Biagio, set up in the bowling green area for the second year, will be officially inaugurated on Friday 2 February with the opening evening dedicated to young people with “Tutta Fuffa”.
On Saturday 3 February the day begins at 3pm with the children’s masked ball animated by DJ Pog and continues with the paella dinner.
From 9.30pm presentation of the Revello masks Marco Rubiolo (Ruchin), with Giorgia Cappellino (Biasina) who will receive the keys to the town from the mayor Daniele Mattio.
The Carnival opening party will continue with DJ Kamillo and the music of Matteo Dianti.
On Sunday 4 February, after the 3pm mass celebrated at the hilltop sanctuary dedicated to San Biagio, the Pro loco will distribute hot chocolate and mulled wine.
At 9pm the Pala San Biagio will host the charity evening organized by Cecy Onlus with the theater company “I mach fina li” from Saluzzo, which will stage “La Rapina. While on Monday 5th at 9pm the highly anticipated Grand Veglione of San Biagio will open with the Marianna Lanteri Orchestra (reservations required by February 3rd).
In the name of tradition, on Wednesday 7 February the streets of the center will be animated by the Agricultural Fair and from 4pm, under the market wing, a polenta-based snack. From 9pm, dancing evening with Maurizio and La Band (reservations required by February 3rd).
Friday 9 February second event dedicated to young people with the “Young Party” and the music of DJ Roxi before the arrival of a surprise guest.
The calendar of events ends on Saturday 10 February with “Happy Carnival”, a carnival-themed closing dinner (reservations required by 7 February), during which the Pro Loco will reveal the theme of the 2024 edition of Borghi in Gioco, scheduled for June.
Before the live music of “Abcd Band” and the DJ set with DJ Fede Gone and DJ Klok marks the end of another success.
“We are proud to be able to offer such a rich program with different events and capable of making San Biagio truly the celebration of all the people of Revello – the words of the president of the Pro loco Elia Tevino –: the program is official, with the confirmation of all the events that have made the history of this patronal festival and the innovations that over the years have made it even more alive and popular, but we are still working on a couple of surprises that we will reveal in the next few days”.
During Friday evenings and the final evening the cocktail bar inside the Pala San Biagio is always open: reservations for dinners can be made in Bocciofila or the Excalibur bar in Revello, while those for the dance evenings on Monday and Wednesday exclusively in Bowling fan.
