On September 21, local time, the Soviet Union’s first nuclear submarine, the K-3 “Lenin Komsomol”, was transported to St. Petersburg, Russia. The main bridges in the city were all opened to welcome this outstanding submarine into the Neva River.
According to reports, the “Leninist Komsomol” will be converted into a military museum upon arrival in St. Petersburg.
