Israeli Army Continues Raids and Elimination of Terrorists in Khan Younis

The Israeli Army has reported that it is maintaining its military operations in the Al Amal neighborhood of Khan Younis, in the south of the Gaza Strip. This area has been under siege for ten days, with the two main hospitals in the city being targeted.

According to a statement from the military, the Israel Defense Forces troops have been locating weapons and terrorist infrastructure in the Gaza Strip. Several terrorists have been killed and detained during these operations, and numerous weapons, including gun parts, explosive devices, and grenades, have been found.

In a hand-to-hand encounter, soldiers were able to eliminate a terrorist cell with tanks and close-range fire. The Israeli Air Force has also attacked several complexes equipped with explosives and terrorist tunnels, as well as weapons warehouses, launch sites, and military complexes in the area.

The Army has reported that they have arrested dozens of “terrorist agents” who tried to escape from the Nasser hospital in Khan Younis, which, along with the Al Amal hospital, has been besieged by Israeli forces. The Army claims that they have searched both hospitals to prevent Hamas from establishing its infrastructure there again.

It has been reported that around 200 suspected terrorists have been killed in recent days in Khan Younis, with dozens of suspects handed over for further interrogation. The military operation in the Shifa hospital in Gaza City has also concluded, with the facility being destroyed and out of service.

As the war in the region approaches six months, the death toll for Palestinians exceeds 32,900, with almost 74,500 injured. The Israeli casualties stand at 257 soldiers. The conflict began on October 7 after an attack by Hamas on Israeli soil, which resulted in significant casualties and captives.

The situation in Khan Younis remains tense as the Israeli Army continues its operations to eliminate terrorist threats in the area.
