Died Liliach Lea Havron e Nir Forti, the last two of the three Italian-Israelis missing after the Hamas attack on 7 October. The announcement was made by the Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani. In recent days the body of. had already been found Eviatar Moshe Kipnis, Havron’s husband, reducing to almost zero the already faint hopes that the woman was still alive. In these two weeks the family had continued to look for her through social media.
“I learned of the death of Liliach Lea Havron, Italian-Israeli and wife of Eviatar Kipnis, whose body had been found in recent days. Both had disappeared after the Hamas attack. I renew my condolences to the children and family. Another day of mourning for Italy,” Tajani wrote on Twitter. The minister had met the couple’s children, Yotam and Nadav, on his mission to Tel Aviv on October 13, when the family still had hope, albeit hanging by a thread. On October 17, Eviatar’s body was identified thanks to a DNA test among the hundreds of unnamed corpses. There is currently no further information on the circumstances of their death. “Her house was burned down,” the elderly aunt had said Halamit Lumbroso. Her husband’s carer, who was ill and in a wheelchair, also lived with them. The man, a Filipino, was found dead on the spot by first responders. Liliach’s son, Yotham, 29 years oldhe was saved from the ferocity of the terrorists only because he had slept in that night Ramat Gannear Tel Aviv.

In the evening Tajani also announced his death of the missing third with dual Italian-Israeli nationality: he is Nir Forti, a young man who had gone with a friend to the music festival in Reim, close to the Strip, which ended with the massacre of 270 young people. He would have been stopped by armed men, who perhaps he took for police officers hit in the chest before he was no longer traceable. “Unfortunately Nir Forti also passed away. He was the last of the three missing Italian-Israelis. I feel the pain of his parents, I had met them during the visit to Tel Aviv. Dying at the age of 29, barbarically killed by terrorists, is profoundly unjust. I pray for you, young Nir,” the deputy prime minister wrote on Twitter.
