The “Find me” system was used for the first time in Serbia on Tuesday, March 26, around 7 p.m., when citizens were informed that at 1:45 p.m. that day, a girl, Danka Ilić, went missing in Banjsko Polje. She was on the farm with her mother and older brother (3), but she walked to the road where, according to the information so far from the investigation, she was hit by a car driven by JKP Vodovod Bor workers, SJ and DD, who hit her and then strangled her and took her body to the landfill.
Journalists Mondo portal from Belgrade they visited the property in Banjsko Polje where the girl disappeared. The street that runs past the property has become a crime scene. Her family’s plot is located on a hill, and there is a ditch on it, from which the police threw out everything that was in it. A few meters away is a dilapidated and old house.
On that fateful day, Danka was with her mother and brother on the property that leads to the street. According to Police Minister Bratislava Gašić, she went out into the street with him. The back end of the pond is about 10, 15 meters away from the street, and on one side of the property there is vegetation, bushes that grow along the street. Minister Gašić stated at the conference that the assumption is that the girl came out of the vegetation into the street when the suspect SJ hit her with a car.

An otherwise peaceful, safe suburban place near Bor became the site of an unprecedented crime that no one saw. No one saw the moment the girl was hit by the car, nor the moment when the passenger DD left the vehicle to get the girl into it. The first neighbors are about 50, 70 meters from the property.
On Thursday, April 4, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced that the girl had been killed. In the meantime, the search for the girl’s body began, two more people were arrested (brother and father of suspect DD). During the night from Saturday to Sunday, brother DD fell ill in detention and died.
