Mayor Matteo Lepore con Daria Bonfietti, president ofAssociation of relatives of the victims of the Ustica massacre and the deputy director of Corriere della Sera, Fiorenza Sarzanini, they dedicated the wall and the plaque to Purgatori, from which, thanks to a QR Code, it is possible to consult all the articles written by the journalist in the Corriere della Sera on this topic. Also present at the ceremony were the president of the National Order of Journalists, Carlo BartoliSecretary Paola Spadari and the treasurer Gabriele Dossena, former colleague of Purgatori at the Corriere. They also intervened Vittorio Di Trapanipresident of the Fnsi, Giuseppe Giulietti national coordinator of Art.21. “Andrea Purgatori, despite not being a citizen of Bologna, in all his activities embodied our spirit: the constant fight for truth and justice, which for us means the fight for democracy and above all means the dignity of the Italian Republic ”, said Mayor Lepore”. Daria Bonfietti recalled the importance of Andrea Purgatori for the relatives of the victims “because he tried not to get fooled. Andrea’s importance is also that of having been able to maintain doubt, the worm and tried in every way to bring out the truth”.
