The film Aftermath will be shown at the Trans TV Cinema tonight, Thursday (1/2/2024) at 21.00 WIB evening. Aftermath is a film directed by Elliott Lester and written by Javier Gullon.
This film, which was released in 2017, stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Scoot McNairy, Maggie Grace, and Martin Donovan.
The film is based on the true story of the Uberlingen incident which occurred in 2002. At that time, a passenger plane collided with a cargo jet.

Sinopsis Film Aftermath
The film Aftermath centers on the character Roman Melnyk (Arnold Schwarzenegger) who is a construction worker. He was waiting for his wife, Olena, and pregnant daughter, Nadiya, to return from New York.
Olenda and Nadiya boarded the AX 112 plane which then had an accident. Roman received the news while waiting for them to arrive at the airport.
Meanwhile, Jacob Bonanos (Scoot McNairy) is an air traffic controller who was on guard duty on the night of the accident. He was on guard at his post while his colleague was resting. The absence of his co-worker means Jacob has to do two tasks at once.
Jacob was devastated when he saw the AX 112 and DH 616 planes disappear from radar. He already knew for sure that the two planes had collided in mid-air.
He also blamed himself for the accident. However, investigators did not blame Jacob for the tragedy.
The crash of the two planes killed all 271 passengers. Roman also disguised himself as a volunteer to find the bodies of his wife and daughter.
One day, a journalist named Tessa Gorbett (Hannah Ware) visits Roman’s house and states that she is interested in writing a book about the tragedy.
In addition, John and James Gullick (Kevin Zegers and Larry Sullivan) failed to convince Roman to sign a letter of agreement from the airline regarding medical insurance.
Roman is determined to find the perpetrator behind the plane crash that killed his wife and daughter. Meanwhile, Jacob changes his identity for his own safety.
