In the Sat.1 talent show “The Voice Kids”, young talents between the ages of seven and 15 compete for an impressive training grant of 15,000 euros. For many of the young musicians it is a special moment to come face to face with their idols. Candidate Alexandra has particularly targeted coach and jury member Lena Meyer-Landrut: “One coach who should definitely turn around is Lena,” explains the “The Voice Kids” participant before her big appearance.

For Alexandra, it is an incredible experience to be on stage herself, having previously watched the show regularly on television. “It’s just awesome at the moment,” enthuses the young singer.

Alexandra puts on a real show during her performance. What’s impressive is that she’s only 11 years old! Although the coaches are initially skeptical, she convinces with her interpretation of the song “Girl on Fire”. Michi and Smudo are the first to press the buzzer.

However, Lena, Alexandra’s favorite coach, is still taking her time. Only at the last notes of the performance does she turn around. The “The Voice Kids” candidate is extremely happy: “I’m on Lena’s team,” she announces happily.
