The Colombian teams were eliminated in the Kings League Americas.

The Kings League, a seven-a-side soccer league—invented by former soccer player Gerard Piqué—which is broadcast through social networks and digital streaming platforms, already has its finalists in the first edition of the tournament in America.

After the success that this competition had in Europe, with clubs that are chaired by influential figures from social networks and former soccer players, Piqué brought the tournament to the American continent and, after almost five months, there will soon be a champion.

The final, which will be played on May 4 at the Azteca Stadium, a legendary sports venue in Mexico City, will not have Colombian representatives, since everyone was eliminated.

The finalists, in an event that will bring together the semifinals of the competition and the title match, are Real Titán, by Chilean youtuber Germán Garmendia; Persas FC, from Peruvian streamer Zein; Raniza FC, from the streamers Barca and Alana, and Galacticos del Caribe, from the YouTubers Futbolitos.

James Rodríguez, eliminated

Atlético Parceros, the team of James Rodríguez and the streamer Pelicanger, which featured players like Giovanni Moreno or Jonathan Estrada, was eliminated in the round of 16.

The Colombian team fell against Olimpo United, a team owned by Javier Chicharito Hernández.

In addition, West Santos FC, team of the controversial streamer WestCol and the musician Arcangel, lost in the quarterfinals, after falling to Persas FC.

Heading to the Kings League World Cup

Having completed the first season of the Kings League Americas, the two Colombian teams are already preparing for what is to come.

At the end of May, also in Mexico, there will be a competition, chaired by Zlatan Ibrahimović, which will integrate the European league with that of America.

In addition, there will be guest teams from around the world chaired by ex-footballers such as Rio Ferdinand, Mario Götze, Neymar, Francesco Totti or Andriy Shevchenko.
