Jackie Chan’s latest appearance managed to make his fans surprised and sad. Because the legendary actor from Hong Kong now looks old and makes fans confused.
Even in his latest photo while attending an event in Sichuan on March 13 2024, Jackie Chan now appears to have white hair and beard. The wrinkles on his face also became clearer.
Born on April 7 1954, this year the Police Story actor will be 70 years old. So it’s not surprising that he now looks old.

Even though he has entered his old age, during his heyday as one of the world‘s legendary actors, Jackie Chan had accumulated a lot of wealth from the various famous films in which he starred.
Not only is he active in the world of acting, he also often directs a number of films. Apart from that, Jackie Chan is also known to have talent in singing and has released a number of albums. On many occasions, he sang the theme songs for his films.
It didn’t stop there, after starring in the film Rush Hour 3, Jackie Chan founded his own production company (JCE Movies Limited) and focused on dramatic roles.
Apart from JCE Movies Limited, it also owns a number of other production companies and cinema chains throughout China. Then he also launched his own clothing line and various food products.
Thanks to that, Jackie Chan is even said to be one of the richest action actors in Asia. Based on the Celebrity Net Worth report, Thursday (21/3/2024), it was stated that the action player had assets of up to US$ 400 million or the equivalent of Rp. 6.28 trillion (exchange rate of Rp. 15,700/US dollar).
However, it turns out that his wealth does not only come from the films he has directed or starred in. But the actor, who is almost 70 years old, also earns quite a large income through his investments in property.
It is known that in 1990, Jackie Chan bought a house in Beijing just because he felt uncomfortable staying in a hostel while filming. The hostel was where he and his crew lived, but the building was quite old and very dirty, making them feel unsafe and uncomfortable.
This made him think that it would be better to just buy a house, so that it could be used for him and the crew when they filmed there again. He looked for recommendations from property agents and chose a si he yuan type house or a traditional Chinese house that has a large yard.
He didn’t just buy one house, he bought eight houses of the same type and spent up to IDR 8.5 billion. After finishing filming there, Jackie Chan actually returned to Hong Kong and didn’t really look after the houses.
Who would have thought that these houses had become very valuable assets for him because local media reported that the price of one house had increased more than 20 times from Rp. 1.07 billion to Rp. 25.8 billion several years ago.
The price of Jackie Chan’s house has soared again to IDR 215 billion after the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to that, he was able to have enormous wealth, outside of his work as an actor and entrepreneur.
