Freddy Nock was in debt before his death.

This emerges from an official gazette of the municipality of Uerkheim (AG).

The paper asks people who hold Nock’s assets to hand them over to the bankruptcy office.
A few weeks ago a memorial service for Freddy Nock took place in Märstetten (TG). The high wire artist died at the age of 59. A document confirms that he had financial difficulties before his death.
Nock lived in the Aargau community of Uerkheim until his death. A preliminary bankruptcy notice like this appeared in the official gazette “Aargauer Zeitung” reported. The bankruptcy office refers to the rejected inheritance as the reason.
Freddy Nock: Assets should be handed over
There are two instructions in the publication: Persons who hold any of Nock’s assets are requested to hand them over to the bankruptcy office immediately. In addition, any debts owed to Nock should no longer be transferred to him because then you risk having to pay them twice.
Shortly after Nock’s death on February 7th, it became known that the artist was receiving social security contributions in his hometown of Uerkheim. He paid some of this back and tried to make ends meet on his own.
Ex-wife reported Freddy Nock
The trigger for Nock’s money problems were accusations from his ex-wife. She reported him for intentional homicide, multiple counts of endangering life and multiple counts of attempted bodily harm. He then had to go to prison for a short time. In 2020, the Aargau Higher Court acquitted him of the charge of attempted intentional homicide.
As a result, Nock has lost countless orders and sponsors in recent years. He became internationally famous for his high wire stunts.
