A couple of days after the remodulations for TIMvision customers, the operator formalizes a new increase in costs that will start in March. The motivation is always the same: the desire to continue investing in new generation networks within a changing context, in a constantly changing market. So from 1 March the monthly price of some TIM fixed line offers will increase by 2 euros per month including VAT.
Unfortunately, TIM has not communicated what the fixed line plans which from March will cost 2 euros more per month, but announced that the affected customers were informed with a message contained in the invoice delivered in January 2024, which explains every detail on the contractual change. TIM has specified that any ongoing promotions will not undergo any changes due to the remodulation.
The operator reminds that each customer can check the economic conditions of your TIM offer by consulting the invoice in the section Costs detailsby accessing the MyTIM reserved area or by calling Customer Service 187 free of charge. Anyone who does not wish to accept the contractual change has the right, as required by law, to withdraw from the contract or switch to another operator without penalties or deactivation costs, provided that give communication by March 31, 2024.
As provided for in article 98-septies decies, paragraph 5, of the Electronic Communications Code, the customer may withdraw from the contract, ceasing Therefore the line or by passing the number to another operatorwithout penalties or deactivation costs by communicating your intention by choosing from one of the following methods by March 31, 2024:
by requesting withdrawal from the MyTIM customer area by writing to the address TIM – Customer Service – Post Office Box 111 – 00054 Fiumicino (Rome) or via PEC to the address [email protected]
it is necessary to attach a photocopy of the contract holder’s identity document and specify in the subject of the communication: “Modification of contractual conditions”
the customer must send written communication even if he intends to switch to another operator without penalties or deactivation costs, specifying in the same that the switch to another operator is carried out for “Modification of contractual conditions”
by going to a TIM store by calling Customer Service 187.
If on the line they are in progress installment payments for the purchase of equipment or services (such as telephones, modems, TVs or contributions for the activation of the service), the customer can choose whether to continue paying the remaining installments until the contractual deadline or pay the remaining amount in a single solution , specifying this last request in the notice of withdrawal or even at a later time via 187.
To customers who have activated the offer TIM Connect Premium after 28 February 2019 and to pay the fees for the services (see TIM Expert) purchased together with the connectivity plan in installments over more than 24 months, any remaining installments on the date of withdrawal from the contract will not be charged. If the customer has devices provided for rent or on loan for use, will have to return them to TIM in accordance with the economic and contractual conditions signed at the time of accepting the offer. In the event that the offer had a permanence constraintthe amounts provided for in the contract for early termination will not be charged.
