Between Timothée Chalamet and AS Saint-Etienne, it’s a great love story that is not ready to end!
Despite his growing success, the Franco-American actor has not forgotten his passion for the Greens. Originally from New York but having spent part of his childhood in Haute-Loire, Timothée Chalamet cultivated a deep love for the region’s emblematic club, AS Saint-Étienne.
Even in the middle of touring to promote “Dune 2” by Denis Villeneuve, the 28-year-old does not forget his beloved club.
Last night, the red carpet at the Grand Rex in Paris was tinged green for the film’s premiere. While his team played a match against Troyes, Timothée Chalamet distributed scarves and caps in his club’s colors in front of the Parisian cinema. An initiative which surprised some fans, but which demonstrates the actor’s deep attachment to his team.
This is not the first time that the actor has shown his support for ASSE. In the past, he appeared on American television wearing the Greens jersey offered by player Loïc Perrin.
This evening on TMC, he did it again. Invited alongside Denis Villeneuve and the stars of the film, Josh Brolin, Austin Butler, Léa Seydoux, Stellan Skarsgard and Souheila Yacoub, Timothée Chalamet was offered scarves from his team by Yann Barthès.
Overjoyed, Timothée Chalamet passed them around the necks of his American co-stars, who did not fully understand the young man’s delirium.

Moreover, the actor has a particular request: he wants the replays of the best moments of the matches to be put on YouTube so that, from Los Angeles where he lives, he can have an overview of the match.
