– It is a very high price. But then it’s a great cabin over three floors in a great location, says general manager Jostein Mo at Privatmegleren Sogn to Parish newspaperwhich mentioned the cabin sale first.
Mo confirms to E24 that the cabin has been put up for what could be a record sum – NOK 11.3 million.
– I sold a cabin for NOK 8 million three years ago, but it was half as big. So in terms of price per square metre, it’s probably not a record, but in total it will be, he says.
Tone Damli Aaberge owns half the cabin. The other owner is her ex-brother-in-law, Jens Nesse. The cabin was built in 2016, and has been used by the families since then, according to Mo.

Now he has had to use the entire marketing system of Privatmegleren in his search for real stakeholders.
– We first entered the international market before it was published in the Norwegian market on Friday. There have been a number of inquiries, but the only concrete thing has been some virtual viewings from Dubai and New York.
The potential buyers have made Mo take a tour of the cabin via video call via WhatsApp, he says.
– If they are going to take the trip themselves, then it must be worth the trouble, so it often starts with a video where I am the robot and they are in control.

– It is clear that those who live abroad and have a different currency get a discount right now. Hopefully it won’t be that long, he says.

Tone Damli Aaberge’s manager David Eriksen has so far not responded to Bergen Tidende’s inquiry for comment on the cabin sale.
