Jakarta (ANTARA) – The draw for the quarter-finals or last eight of the 2023/24 Europa League was held in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday evening at 19.00 WIB.
The draw was hosted by Fernando Llorente, who once won this competition with Sevilla.
There are several big matches in the quarter-final phase of this competition. The compatriot duel took place after AC Milan was confirmed to face AS Roma.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s favorite champion team will meet the Italian representative, namely Atalanta. The top Bundesliga club, Bayer Leverkusen, must face English Premier League club West Ham.
In the final draw, Portuguese club Benfica were confirmed to face Ligue 1 team Marseille.
The draws for the semifinal and final matches are also held at the same time. The first leg of the Europa League quarter-final match will be held on April 11, while the second leg will be held the following week or on April 18 2024.
Meanwhile, the first leg of the semifinal matches is scheduled for May 2, with the second leg on May 9 2024
Meanwhile, the Europa League final for the 2023/24 season will be held at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on 22 May 2024.
