“Trllion Game” Addictive Live Action How to Get Rich!

Who wouldn’t like to get rich? In the live “Trllion Game” based on the manga by Riichiro Inagami and drawn by Ryoichi Ikegami, broadcast on the Netflix platform, two young people, Haru and Gaku succeed.

The work practically begins from the ending, and then tells us how they reached the peak of wealth,

Manabu Gaku Taira (Hayato Sano) is a computer genius, targeted by bullies, he is saved by Haru Tennoji (Ren Meguro), who without much hesitation knocks them out with a bit of slaps. Unfortunately the scene is filmed by surveillance cameras and the boy faces expulsion from school. To repay his debt, Gaku manages to enter the control server and delete the videos. From this moment the two boys enter into society to become the richest men.

Haru, with his expansive, cheeky temperament and strong communication skills, searches for financiers for their business, not always in a completely legitimate way. Thus supporting Gaku’s IT work.

A series of 10 episodes, with a fast pace and continuous twists, as they will find themselves clashing with a large financial giant that initially snubs them and then even goes as far as acquiring them but….

An intense and well-structured work which, in the form of an imaginary TV series, highlights a speculative aspect in the Japanese financial landscape, in which any means is permitted to achieve one’s goals.

An important element is the humorous component, which eases moments of tension and makes all the protagonists more human; in fact, around Gaku and Haru, characters with a thousand facets move, from the inscrutable Kedoin (Koji Kikkawa) who finances them, to the nice and shy Rinrin (Riko Fukumoto) who is hired at the “Trillion Game” as President, to the grumpy and bewitching Kirika (Mio Imada), daughter of the president of Dragon Bank who would like the two boys at her service…

Haru is very ambitious, so much so that he considers himself the most selfish man on Earth and doesn’t have many scruples, even if he manages to keep this nature at bay thanks to Gaku, who is more thoughtful and honest in relationships between people. Their friendship is very solid, so much so that Haru believes a lot in Gaku’s qualities and the latter has complete trust in his adventure companion.

The ending is open, as the two millionaires have not yet reached the Trillion dollar mark and new challenges await them. A brilliant, compelling series with the right complex screenplay, in which the alchemy between the two protagonists makes the narrative perfect. She would be great in a new series.
