The judge – However, he found “a significant irregularity that pollutes the current structure of the prosecution team” and therefore gave an ultimatum to the prosecutor. “The public could reasonably and easily have doubts about the financial exchanges, the benefits for the prosecutor or even the intimate relationship,” the judge underlined in the ruling. “In other words, an external person may reasonably believe that the attorney is not exercising her independent professional judgment. As long as Wade continues to work on the case, this perception will persist.”
