Türkiye, Erdogan to vote in Istanbul – Corriere TV

(LaPresse) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has voted in the elections held today May 14 and in which he is a candidate for a new term. Speaking to reporters, Erdogan has expressed the hope that the outcome of the polls will be beneficial for the country. “My hope in God is that after the conclusion of the count tonight, the result will be positive for the future of our country, for Turkish democracy,” he said, as reported by Turkish media.
